This song is dedicated to Reppas' late friend, Michael Salsberger. Friends since they were toddlers with differing lives. Reppas' was a life of structure: family, education and sports. Michael's life was one of complete freedom, "a product of the carefree hippies that were his parents."
After Salsberger passed, Reppas wrote a three page, free verse poem about him, his life and his parents. That poem became this song. Reppas invites you to listen and understand every side of the fence ❤️
