To begin 2026, NYFMF acknowledges the publication of a new study in the Social Enterprise Journal examining how nonprofit and social-impact incubators sustain themselves across philanthropic, earned, and public funding models.

NYFMF was among the organizations invited to contribute to this peer-reviewed, global research effort, reflecting a growing emphasis on evidence-based approaches to cultural and social infrastructure designed to endure across administrations, funding cycles, and shifting political priorities at the local, state, and federal level.

As the Foundation enters a new year, the mission remains long-term: to support artists and cultural work that extend across disciplines and borders, contributing to a shared cultural record for generations to come.
