After completing JS Fine Arts Academy’s Nadana Yathirai, we traveled to Bangalore to visit my brother. This journey marked one of the happiest moments of my life.
People truly love to dance. Many may have danced in their younger years but stopped after marriage due to family responsibilities. When I came to the USA 50 years ago, I carried a deep desire to spread the joy of dance—to the young and the old, to those who had never danced, and to those who danced a little during their college days.
During my years in Kansas City, I had several opportunities to visit schools and share Indian culture. I decided then to teach a few simple, fun dance steps and dance along with the students. It turned out to be a huge success. You may have seen this song many times on my channel, performed by different age groups. What remains constant, however, is the joy people experience through dance.
I hope you enjoy this video and feel inspired to get up and dance along.

Thank you for watching.

After completing JS Fine Arts Academy’s Nadana Yathirai, we headed to Bangalore to visit my brother. The Siva Thandavam 10 World Records Mega Event! It's truly inspiring to see how this event is providing a platform for students to showcase their talents in Carnatic music and dance arts. The fact that it's being conducted on only online on August 3, 2024. My students have participated as a group. At the siddhivinayagar temple, I did a solo (not the whole song, only a couple of stanzas). The Shiv Tandav Stotram is one of the most powerful and poetic hymns in Hinduism. Composed by Ravan, the great devotee and king of Lanka, this stotram glorifies Lord Shiv’s fierce Tandav — the cosmic dance of creation and destruction. Its verses are both awe-inspiring and deeply devotional, filled with rich imagery of Shiv’s grandeur. Thanks for watching.
