Bumpy Pitch

last year after we got a DM from a brewer in north carolina asking us to come celebrate at his brewery.

we couldn’t make it. we had to get back home the next morning.

but the conversation kept going.

eventually it turned into this.

después is a mexican lager that came together between a brewery in north carolina, a designer in mexico city, and a football team that spends most of its life moving between airports, group chats, and tournaments.

we spent the last few months working on it with people who care deeply about their craft. not just the liquid, but the feeling around it too.

during the design process, we talked a lot about restraint. how something can feel comfortable in both a brewery and an art gallery without needing to scream for attention.

that idea has always felt very bumpy pitch to us.

the game creates a lot of things beyond the field if you let it.

sometimes it’s friendships.
sometimes it’s community.
sometimes it turns into a beer.
