One of my biggest pieces of advice for aspiring trainers is to really understand the biomechanics of natural human movement.
Just look at how the body moves!
Once you have the big picture, break it down into smaller segments like what’s happening at the knee during stance phase or why is the upper body moving how it is compared to the lower body.
One of the coolest things I’ve learned is just how important the arm action is for speed and agility.
You might think “the arms are not that important for running right?”
Indeed they are extremely important when it comes to turning over the legs in speed and throwing the hips and reaccelerating in a change of direction drill.
If you want to learn more Im going to be doing speed and agility sessions at Flamingo Park at south beach. Lookout for the announcement!
