Introducing Gisela and Jessica from . Two amazing young occupational therapists who are bringing back the old ways to provide children with the chance to get back to the basics of play without devices through nature-based groups.
We recently interviewed Gisela and were pleasantly surprised at the approach they use with kids. The interview will be uploaded soon on our page. You can book them through our website. Follow their page for more information.

The Halloween Activities Continue! π»
This time we made some ghosts! Some spookier than others βΊοΈ
How we did it:
β¨ Cut a banana in half
β¨ Put a skewer through
β¨ Dip in yogurt
β¨ Add accessories (chocolate chip eyes, gummy belt and mouth)
β¨ Put in freezer for 30 minutes or until solid
β¨ Enjoy the spooky delicacy!
This works on so many skills such as: cutting food, sensory processing, meal prep, ideation and creativity, fine motor skills, problem solving, following directions, and executive functioning
Halloween is just 5 sleeps away π ππ

Spray bottle are a quick fun way to keep your kiddos entertain and work on fine motor skills. Itβs a win, win situation π
Using a spray bottle puts little hands to work by helping strengthen the muscles that are in their hands (intrinsic muscles). Pressing and releasing a spray bottle is also much like the manipulation of scissors.
Itβs such a simple household device that can promote many skills and provide endless fun β€οΈ
