Attendance just tells you people showed up.
It does not tell you if anyone cared.
The events that pay off are the ones people are still bringing up weeks later. The client who emails you out of nowhere. The employee who says that was the best one we have done. The room that felt different.
None of that shows up in a scan count, but that is the stuff that turns into your next deal.
So when an event wraps, I would rather ask: are people still talking about it?
Did it actually bring anyone closer? Would they come back without thinking twice?
That is harder to put in a slide. It is also the only part that matters.
If your last event looked fine on paper but you are honestly not sure it changed anything, that is worth a conversation.
