Save this if you want to build your glutes and keep your legs lean. 💪🏻
I’ve been focusing on glutes while trying to keep my legs lean, so I keep it pretty simple.
Deadlifts, single-leg work, hip thrusts…
then band kicks and leg curls to finish. Always using a weight that actually challenges me.
I usually end with a walk to hit my 10k steps, and I’ve been keeping things clean, less sugar, less alcohol, more whole foods.

With my trainer Julie Pauline Rodríguez we worked on 3 KEY exercises for glute growth & lean legs. But what is must important about the routine is performing the technique of each exercise correctly. Here some tips:
1. Hip Thrust
– Place your upper back firmly on the bench
– Keep your chin slightly down to protect your lower back
– Push through your heels and squeeze your glutes at the top for 1–2 seconds
– Keep your core engaged to avoid arching your back (the movement comes from the hips)
2. Sumo Squat
– Feet wider than shoulder-width, toes slightly turned out
– Knees follow the line of your feet (don’t let them cave inward)
– Lower down in control and keep your chest up
– Pause at the bottom, then push your feet into the ground to come up; this helps achieve proper glute contraction/activation
3. Cable Glute Kickback
– Keep your core tight (don’t swing your body)
– Controlled movement, no momentum
– Extend your leg back while squeezing your glute
– Control the eccentric phase: return slowly to the starting position without letting the cable pull you; you control the weight at all times
– Less weight, more mind-muscle connection
