I wish more people knew that needing reassurance isn’t clingy — it’s a nervous system asking for safety.

When you ask “are we okay?”, that’s not neediness. It’s a body that learned, somewhere, that love could disappear.

The problem isn’t that you need reassurance. It’s that you believe the only place you can find it is outside yourself.

The shift: you can still ask for it — and also start giving a little to yourself. “I’m allowed to feel unsure and still be okay.” Reassurance isn’t weakness. It’s how nervous systems settle.

Needing comfort doesn’t make you too much. It makes you human.
