“Creativity requires no talent,
“The Circles of Life”
Becoming a new father this past month definitely has made it challenging to get a god block of time to create but it’s still important for me to find ways to be creative especially just practicing edits and keeping the skill set sharpened. So I decided to just find circles to photograph during my daily duties. It’s pretty amazing how many circle life has to offer and how I view my day, kind of cool exercise. Hahha.
From there I just wanted to practice doing “Match Cuts” of the shape. This post is nothing special, just something to stimulate my creative mind till the next post.

It’s January 23rd—the 23rd day of the year. For a kid growing up in the 90s, that number represents only one person: Michael Jordan. 🏀🐐
This siegeINK design was inspired by deep nostalgia. I grew up watching MJ dominate the court, always dreaming of owning the shoes everyone wanted in 1991, the Air Jordan 6s. They weren't in the budget for me nor my parents back then, but that desire fueled this creative project decades later.
I designed this t-shirt graphic as a tribute to that time. If you look closely at the letter 'J', it’s actually designed using the elements of the sneaker itself. It is also my personal nod to the iconic Mars Blackman (Spike Lee) commercials that defined sneaker culture for so many of us.
This print is entirely handcrafted. I used my Cricut Explore Air for the vinyl print transfers that were pressed onto hand cut cotton fabrics that are layered, and then assembled it all using zigzag stitching on my Singer sewing machine. It was a process, but worth it to bring that 90s vision to life today.
"It’s gotta be the shoes!"

I’ve realized that I can’t stay in one creative lane for too long. If I’m not designing or illustrating, I still need to find ways to let that energy out. During my social media hiatus, that outlet has been interior design. 🏠✨
I wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes of my hallway space I finished early last year. My goal was to capture a specific mid-century modern vibe throughout the house—something that sets a mood and energetic feeling the moment you walk in.
The photos show the reality of the work: the meticulous cutting of a shape, the mixing of the interior paint that's consistent throughout the house, and the patience of repeating the design up the wall. It’s different from drawing, but the foundation is exactly the same. It all comes back to composition.
It’s been amazing to explore this medium. It keeps the creative spark alive when other outlets feel a bit stale or limited by time.
Let me know what you think of the transformation!
