Announcing TYT-002, “Mitingu”. The project consists of jazz musicians from Peru, Switzerland, Finland and Belgium to form a truly international collaboration. The album is similar to the ECM recordings of Keith Jarrett’s standards trio mixed with the Blue Note recordings of Grant Green. Featuring never before recorded originals of the musicians as well as tunes from the Great American Songbook, the music of Thelonious Monk and more in the five track album. Incredibly ambitious and always inspiring, the album features Diego Melgar on guitar, Juho Valjakka on piano, Timo Wild on drums and Jasper de Roeck on bass. Guest vocals provided by Justine Garcia. The album will be out everywhere on August 26th, preorder link in bio!
