🌴😎CUBA FACT: I get asked all the time "Where can I find these classic cars in Havana??" The answer is, EVERYWHERE! These cars aren't just a tourist attraction, they're a part of daily Cuban life. ⠀

After the trade block began, there was no more import or export of cars and most of the cars that populated Havana and the rest of the island were these American cars that have become classics. As time passed, these same cars have remained and need to be constantly maintained to keep them running. It's truly an art of its own to keep these things alive and well. In between the battle against nature and aging, limited or no parts to fix them with, and the financial scarcity, it makes it an ongoing puzzle to figure out. But Cubans always find a way to make it work. ⠀

Transportation is a commodity of it's own in Cuba. It's one of the most valuable assets you can own.⠀
