Support Carrfour this Holiday Season

Excited to join City of Miami Commissioner Christine King for a back-to-school event at our Dr. Barbara Carey Shuler Manor community. It was a great day supporting formerly homeless families, including many Veterans, as they get ready for the new school year.

On July 26th, the Heritage Park Team hosted our first annual Heritage Park Block Party! This community-driven event brought together providers like Community of Hope, Girl Scouts of Citrus, Women’s Center, and more to support our “No Child Left Behind” mission. With generous donations from Sam’s Club, Geico Insurance, and the amazing DJ Ray Ray from Daily Bread Inc., the day was a huge success. A special thanks to our tenants who volunteered, helping with everything from grilling to face painting. Check out the pics below!

Senator Jonathan Martin and Senator Lauren Book joined Ron Book, Chairman of the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust, in touring Carffour’s Northside housing community to learn about supportive housing and witness its transformative impact on adults living with mental illness. Northside, an 80-unit housing community, provides stable, quality housing for individuals overcoming long histories of residential instability.
