Well that certainly didn’t end how I wanted. Had a great first 44 miles. Then struggled through some hydration issues and took a couple hours to sort them out. Was doing good again, did another 14 miles and then had some bad symptoms that I just couldn’t shake no matter what with shivering and elevated heart rate.

Ended up calling it after 90 minutes of trying to get right. Still managed to take home a 3rd place for my distance (58 miles) and some wonderful memories and views.

Day 2 is done. Clocked 100 miles down and 186 total. Final day to reach the water is underway!
