From their efforts the Florida Association of Workers for the Blind, which would later be called Miami Lighthouse, was born.

At Miami Lighthouse Academy, early elementary students in art class have a blast π creating 3D paintings that depict their own interpretations of the prompt: 'a nighttime in the everglades'. βπ

β students with visual impairment in our Academy pre-k, kindergarten, AND grades 1-4...ALL at no cost, including free transportation!

Miami Lighthouse Academy students are learning about the Everglades, inspiring creativity in art class! With a little paint, gems, and a smooth stone, students created pet rocks, and decorated bendy wooden snake buddies! π¨πͺ¨ππ
