Pharmacy Technician (Full time Long Term Position)

Locations- TX, FL, CA, OPEN (Anywhere)

Remote Pharmacy Techs primarily conduct onsite retail pharmacy audits. This includes preparing audit reports and determining overpayments. Certified Pharmacy Techs that have worked at Long Term Care pharmacies, mail order, hospital as well as Retail. Must be Certified and have a good understanding of prescription requirements, calculations and excellent excel skills.

Responsibilities:
-Work and communicate directly with pharmacy management and staff
-Schedule audit travel in a cost effective way
-Keep up to date with State and Federal Regulations that apply to the profession of Pharmacy
-Identify and determine if overpayments have occurred
-Maintain timely communication with the Audit Coordinators regarding scheduling and completion of audits
-Identify and communicate facility and provider specific issues that will impact the client
-Report any audit concerns without delay
-Compile concise records and documentation of all audits performed
-Comply with HIPAA and other regulations regarding confidentiality of patient information
-Conduct accurate and detailed pharmacy audits in accordance with State and Federal Regulations
-Primary point of contact for contractors and pharmacy management with questions relating to audits
-Provide assistance with departmental education and training

Qualifications:
Required:

-Certified Pharmacy Technician with current active license
-Audit experience preferred
-Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician
-Excellent Excel skills, word processing and database knowledge
-Excellent verbal and communication skills
-Strong Analytical Skills
-Ability to prioritize work and demonstrate problem solving skills
-Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills
-Self-starter who is an effective time-manager
-Ability to travel for extended periods of time
-75% Traveling required (3 weeks out of the month)

40 hours per week

Salary: $19.23/hr

Provider Enrollment Specialist

This position is responsible for processing necessary documents to ensure that all physicians are enrolled in government programs and are participating in company approved managed care organizations. This position will also include organizing and maintaining physician files; maintain credentialing reports and update Provider Enrollment Goldmine database; conduct written and oral follow up to determine application status; communicate with all necessary internal departments; develop and maintain relationships with individual contacts for the government agencies as well as managed care organizations; create and maintain blank application files for the government agencies as well as managed care organizations.

Previous Provider Enrollment experience.

• Request and complete all necessary and appropriate forms for submission to the proper health plan entities

• Review all applications completed by the Assistant

• Communicate with health plans to understand process and use this information to establish and maintain estimated effective dates for providers

• Prepare check requests for required application fees

• Maintain and update database with both enrollment status and necessary data elements

• Document all tasks, phone calls, emails and other forms of communication during the enrollment process in the database

• Conduct written and oral follow up to determine application status

• Escalate all issues to the appropriate members of the management staff, region, and/or co-workers as necessary

• Respond promptly to all questions, received via phone or email, regarding any health plan and/or group/pin

• Complete and update CAQH database when appropriate

• Communicate with all necessary internal departments

• Scan and index completed applications

• Develop and maintain relationships with individual contacts for the government agencies as well as managed care organizations

• Prepare updates upon completion of enrollment and forward with pin and/or group numbers to the Supervisor to review

• Monitor and update expired licenses, as requested

• Complete other tasks or projects as assigned

Salary Range: $15 to $17.00/hour

Monday through Friday. 7:30-4:00pm. 8:00-4:30, 9:00-5:30.
