Most people think longevity is about diet alone.
It’s not.
Healthspan is driven by multiple daily exposures that compound over decades.
Sleep quality
Stress load
Alcohol exposure
Movement patterns
Smoking status
Social connection
Each of these shifts inflammation, metabolic health, vascular function, and nervous system regulation — the same core systems that determine disease risk and aging trajectory.
This is why prevention can’t be reduced to one habit or one supplement.
Longevity is the cumulative effect of how you live.
At Neos, we evaluate these domains alongside advanced labs and genetics to understand your personal risk profile and optimization path.
Because healthspan is built, not guessed.

Functional medicine gets a lot of opinions. Here is mine, and where I stand.
My name is Chloe Pappas, PA-C (physician associate/assistant). I am nationally certified and state licensed. I completed a fellowship in Emergency Medicine and burns, and spent over a decade in the hospital setting before continuing my education in functional medicine.
This is not an either or conversation.
Functional medicine, at its core, focuses on foundations.
Nutrition. Exercise. Sleep. Stress.
It looks at epigenetics and how your environment, habits, and exposures influence how your body actually functions over time.
It is a proactive approach.
And to be clear, conventional medicine is also preventative in many ways. Screening protocols, vaccines, early detection. That is critical and it saves lives.
But we also cannot ignore that the system falls short.
It is not because your primary care doctor does not care. They do.
It is because of time constraints, system limitations, and lack of access to deeper support like nutrition counseling and lifestyle guidance.
Most people leave appointments with more questions than answers.
This is where my work comes in.
We spend time understanding patterns.
We look at labs through a more optimal lens, not just what is considered “normal,” because normal ranges are based on population averages. And most people are not aiming to feel average.
At Neos, we still practice the standard of care.
Mammograms, pap smears, colonoscopies, and referrals when needed are non-negotiable.
But we also go further.
We ask why symptoms are happening.
We focus on building a system that actually supports long term health, performance, and prevention.
That is not replacing conventional medicine.
It is filling in the gaps where patients are often left on their own.
