As we get ready to say goodbye to our 5th graders, we are making sure they blast off in true KLA style! 🚀✨
A week full of fun, laughter, memories, and moments to celebrate all they have accomplished together. Watching them reflect on their journey, friendships, and growth has been incredibly special.

As graduation approaches, our fifth graders are looking back on the moments that defined their years at KLA.

Through graphic design in Makers Lab, students explored identity and self-expression, creating personalized pieces that reflect their voices, interests, and experiences within our community.

Every design tells a different story, reminding us that learning is not only about what students know, but who they become along the way.

Before stepping into their next chapter, our fifth graders took time to reflect on the experiences, relationships, and memories that have shaped their journey at KLA.

In Makers Lab, students explored graphic design as a form of storytelling and self-expression, using color, imagery, symbols, and composition to create personal “About Me” designs that represent who they are and what matters most to them.

Each piece captures a unique perspective, a visual reflection of identity, growth, and the lasting impact of their years within our community.

These are just the first few pieces we’re beginning to share, with many more to come!

What a wonderful evening welcoming our newest families into our community. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect members of our PAK (Parent Association) with our new families for an evening of building meaningful relationships and connections.
