So before I rest this beautiful body and mind that GOD gave me, I wanted to share my heart for a few. Miami Dade County, WE ARE IN A STATE OF EMERGENCY. This is not a time for political correctness or playing nice for your friends and/or enemies. What we are seeing today ate the consequences and repercussions that no one wants to be accountable for that started approximately twenty years ago.
Here are a few of my solutions
1. For those that know how to pray please PRAY because all things are Spiritual
2. All the Mayors need to come together and declare this a war zone. This is a State of Emergency!!!!!
3. Allow the FEDS and the National Guard to come into Dade County and sweep the streets
4. So this is how Operation Sweep the Streets should look like.
a. Curfews
b. Shut down every dope hole (trap house) in the country
c. Shut down every street gambling spot in the County
Now once this happens the streets will began to cry out. Folks will start talking and bodies will stop dropping.
Understand this approach here is just the band-aid, there is so much work our community needs to do for long term results.
These thoughts and ideas come from a two week long conversation with several very important community persons.
Teamwork makes the Dream work. We can do this and we will, it's just not the time for politics as usual in Dade-County!!!

1866 until Now...

Memorial Day was started by former slaves on May, 1, 1865 in Charleston, SC to honor 257 dead Union Soldiers who had been buried in a mass grave in a Confederate prison camp. They dug up the bodies and worked for 2 weeks to give them a proper burial as gratitude for fighting for their freedom. They then held a parade of 10,000 people led by 2,800 Black children where they marched, sang and celebrated.
We have to keep tracking and teaching our history.

Every person has dignity and potential. But one in three American adults has a criminal record, which limits their access to education, jobs, housing, and other things they need to reach that potential. Join Prison Fellowship as we celebrate "Second Chance Month" in April, unlocking brighter futures for 70 million Americans who have repaid their debt to society.

I would like to thank everyone for the calls texts and messages. We will be traveling home to lay my Father to rest this week.
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
