The rain chased us out of the park but by the time I got to the Franklin St Bridge, it had stopped so I pulled up in the parking lot and shot back towards the Old Lighthouse. I had about 5 more minutes and just got set up, fired the shutter for 30 seconds and all of a sudden a whizzing noise filled the sky (yes, you can hear lightning) with a blinding white light and a very loud crack! Okay, maybe I'm too close but I am not moving until this shutter closes! All of a sudden the shutter closes and the LCD Screen shows a glamorous site. Let me share that vision with you. By far my favorite shot of the night!

The lightning wasn't going off and a lot of it was cloud to cloud last night right up until the storm was just about on top of us but if you were patient and left the shutter open, you could be rewarded with some pretty cool shots!

Last night, New Buffalo just prior to the storm coming in. One more night tonight! I hope everyone is weather aware tonight because it could be a doozy tonight!

This afternoon's senior photoshoot was about as hot as any senior shoot I have done but Erin Piazzisi was a huge trooper and pulled it off! It is so much fun doing stuff like this when I have kids, or should I say young ladies and gentlemen, who are this great to work with. We got a lot of really great images but here are just a couple! Thanks guys for letting me do these for you and thanks Erica and Sofia for the company to get these done and to the most important person on this shoot, my wife and voice activated lightstand, Carla Quinn!
