This week, we proudly recognize and celebrate EMS Week and the incredible men and women who answer the call day and night to provide emergency medical care to our community.
From life saving medical emergencies to comforting patients on their worst days, EMS personnel are there when people need them most. Their dedication, professionalism, and compassion do not go unnoticed.
We would like to extend a special thank you to our partners at Nash County EMS and all EMS providers who work tirelessly to serve our citizens. We are grateful for the teamwork and commitment you show every single day.

Yesterday, Chief Amos and Lt. Hogge joined police chiefs from across North Carolina for the North Carolina Chief’s Association Legislative Day.
During the event, chiefs met with lawmakers to discuss a variety of issues impacting law enforcement agencies and the communities we serve. These conversations help ensure that the voices of local departments and the citizens we protect are represented when decisions affecting public safety are made.
We appreciate the opportunity to work alongside leaders from across the state to help strengthen public safety in North Carolina. We appreciate Allen Chesser for talking to the group as well as meeting with Chief Amos and Lt. Hogge individually.
