Thanks to all the mothers out there for all their love and support! Please remember that older adults are at greatest risk in the event of a fire at home. Show Mom some love: If she needs a hand installing, testing, maintaining, or replacing her alarms, offer to lend a hand.

Members of the Middleton, Topsfield, and Boxford Fire and Police Departments, along with the Essex County Sheriff’s Department, participated in active shooter training earlier today at Masconomet Regional High School.

These realistic training exercises are essential to keeping public safety personnel prepared and proficient in the critical skills needed to respond effectively to these unfortunate incidents. Ongoing collaboration and training like this help ensure a coordinated, professional response when it matters most.
