When we listed her home, we negotiated a 60-day settlement. Most sellers just take whatever the buyer offers. We asked for more time, and we got it. That extra time gave us the runway to go find her next home, get under contract, and line everything up.

Then we coordinated both settlements to happen on the same day.

She sat at one closing table, signed the papers, handed over the keys. Then we walked into the next closing. She signed again. Got her new keys. Same day.

Old home sold. New home in Maryland. Done.
