๐Ÿพ Teddy's Next Chapter Begins! ๐Ÿพ

We're thrilled to share that Teddy, our handsome Chow Chow, has gone home on a foster-to-adopt placement with a family that has extensive experience with the breed!

Chow Chows are wonderful dogs, but they are also unique. Their independent nature, loyalty, and specific needs make breed knowledge incredibly valuable. That's why we're so excited that Teddy is getting the opportunity to settle into a home with people who understand and appreciate exactly who he is.

Foster-to-adopt programs are a win for everyone involved. They allow a dog to decompress in a home environment while giving the family time to ensure it's the right fit. For dogs like Teddy, it can provide valuable insight into their personality outside of the shelter and help set them up for long-term success.

Fostering also saves lives. Every time a foster family opens their home, it frees up space and resources for another animal in need. It gives shelter pets a chance to relax, learn household routines, and receive individualized attention that can make all the difference in their journey to a forever home.

We're rooting for Teddy and his new family and can't wait to hear how he settles in. Thank you to everyone who chooses to foster, foster-to-adopt, volunteer, and support animals as they make the transition from shelter life to home life.

Good luck, Teddy! We have a feeling this is the beginning of something wonderful. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ•

WOW! What an incredible Kitten Shower! ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿ’•

We are overflowing with gratitude for everyone who helped make this year's event such a tremendous success.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing vendors, generous raffle basket donors, talented musician, dedicated volunteers, hardworking staff, and every supporter who attended, shopped, donated, and celebrated with us. Your enthusiasm, generosity, and love for animals helped create a truly special day for our community and, most importantly, for the kittens and cats who depend on Pets Alive.

From the beautiful vendor displays and exciting raffle prizes to the fantastic music and countless volunteer hours behind the scenes, every contribution played a part in making the event memorable and meaningful.

Because of you all, we can continue providing care, shelter, and second chances to animals in need. We are so fortunate to have such an incredible community standing behind our mission.

Thank you for helping make the 2026 Kitten Shower one for the books! We can't wait to see you again next year. ๐Ÿพโค๏ธ

๐ŸŽถ The hills are alive... with the sound of ODIN! ๐ŸŽถ

You may remember this handsome boy as Zeus when he was here at Pets Alive. Today, he's living his best life as Odin, racing through rolling green hills, feeling the wind in his fur, and embracing every moment of freedom and joy.

Watching him frolic through the countryside, it's hard not to imagine him starring in his own version of The Sound of Musicโ€”running across the fields with a song in his heart and not a care in the world.

This is why we do what we do. Every adoption is a new beginning, a chance for a shelter dog to trade kennels for wide-open spaces, uncertainty for love, and waiting for belonging.

Thank you to Odin's family for giving him the happy ending he deserves. Seeing him so carefree and loved makes our hearts sing. โค๏ธ๐Ÿพ
