Allow me to reintroduce myself! ​​​​​​​​​My name is Desiree👋 I'm a Wife, Mother, and Child of God 💖
I'm a Licensed Esthetician and owner of Revive Glam Studio. I have been an Esthetician since 2017 and started Revive in 2019. I have worked from a little spot under the stairs in my house to the place I'm in now, and I feel so grateful for that journey. In my time as an esthetician, I have found that my passion within the field is to embrace multicultural skin by celebrating the richness of diverse skin tones and textures while also promoting inclusive skincare practices and products that cater to the unique needs of all individuals, regardless of race or ethnicity. I focus on making myself a leader in the industry by seeking and creating treatments that work and focusing on my clients and their needs.

🌻 I'm From: Long Island, NY, but I love my new home in Middletown!
🌻 A book that has had a profound impact on me, and why? In middle school, I read a book called The Skin I'm In by Sharon G. Flake. It was about a girl who was learning to be confident in who she was. I still remember that book!
🌻 Favorite skincare ingredient? If so, what is it and why? Mandelic Acid, because who doesn't love a clear complexion with no irritation? 🤷🏽‍♀️
🌻 Share one skincare tip you swear by for maintaining radiant skin. See an Esthetician you trust so that you can get a skin analysis. That way, you will know your skin type and the conditions you need to treat with professional products and treatments.
🌻 What's one common skincare myth you'd love to debunk? Facial hair doesn't grow back thicker after dermaplaning. It grows back the same way it was before we did the procedure.
🌻 What motivates you to continue growing and evolving as an esthetician? The community. Whether it's my wonderful clients enjoying the services and benefiting from them not just with their skin but inwardly, my friends in the beauty industry or other professionals, I see accomplishing their goals in the industry, showing that the sky is the limit!
