She couldn't recognize who you'd become. If she could see you now, healed and whole and thriving, she wouldn't believe it was possible. She was too far gone, too broken, too convinced that this was the end. But she rose. One last time, when she had nothing left, when she was still shattered into pieces, she got up anyway.
