Congratulations to Ruben on 8 years of sobriety. We are so proud of the work you have put into yourself and here at Springboard. Ruben is a dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor with a demonstrated history of working with Detox, Residential, and Adolescents. He is a wonderful counselor who shows great compassion in his work and provides empathy, love, and support to others.

“Never underestimate a recovering addict. We fight for our lives every day in ways most people will never understand.”

Please join us in congratulating Teryn Gonzales on being May's employee of the month. Teryn is a resident advocate encouraging our clients as they work to gain sobriety. Teryn, who has worked at the Springboard Center for almost two years, says, "As much as I put into this job and into our clients, I get so much more back. I am very thankful for that."

Congratulations, Teryn! Thank you for making a difference here at Springboard.

Su***de is a leading cause of death in the United States, and it has affected about 54% of Americans in some way.

However, there is hope! More investment in prevention, education, and research will help lower su***de rates.

90% of those who died by su***de had a treatable mental illness.

That is why we invite you to join the Midland ISD and Midland College Out of the Darkness Walk on Saturday, May 6th.

Let's come together to show support for those who have been impacted by su***de and to promote mental health and wellness in our community.

Hope Walks Here! You are not alone!
