This week, members of the Accessia Health team had the chance to volunteer with Ronald McDonald House Richmond by shopping and preparing lunches for families whose children are receiving care in local hospitals. It was a meaningful experience that allowed us to support families during what can often be a challenging and stressful time.

We are grateful to them for welcoming us and providing this opportunity to serve our community, as well as the important work they do every day to help families find comfort, care, and support when they need it most. ❤️

Today on Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) Awareness Day, we recognize the strength, resilience, and experiences of those navigating life with HAE. From years of unanswered questions and emergency room visits to the daily uncertainty that can come with swelling attacks, the HAE community continues to face challenges that many people never see.

We are especially grateful to patients like Cheryl, LaTonya, and Debbie for sharing their stories and allowing us to highlight their experiences. Your voices help bring awareness to the realities of HAE while reminding others that they are not alone. 🧡
