This past Thursday, we wrapped up Galatians Chapter 4 by seeing how we are not slaves to the law but children of God who inherited His promise that has been passed down for generations since Abraham. The law was powerless to save us because we can not live up to God's perfect standard, so God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to be the fulfillment of the law and the promise made to Abraham. It is only through Christ's sacrifice that we can recieve freedom from sin, freedom from death, and a restored relationship with our Heavenly Father. Only through Jesus can we experience salvation and become heirs of God's promise.

The past two weeks we started looking at Paul's letter to the churches of Galatia. In this letter, Paul is making the case that there is only one true Gospel and apart from it, there is no true salvation. In Chapter 1, Paul clearly states that it is only for the approval of God that he preaches the Gospel, not the approval of man. Let us have that same mindset as we share the hope within us with others.
