Immediate Opportunity- Accounting Clerk
Full time
Compensation $15-$20 per hour

DMC Security Services, Inc. is an over 40 year old privately owned electronic security company located in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago and is currently looking for an Accounting Clerk for our Accounting Department.

The ideal applicant will have a strong work ethic. knowledge of basic accounting software, posses a professional demeanor with good verbal & written communication skills.

Candidate must pass a drug test and the state mandated background check required to obtain the Illinois P.E.R.C. card.

Job Duties

• Provide Accounting and clerical support

• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements

• Ability to learn our proprietary accounting software

• Preparing monthly invoices and statements

• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner

• Provide required reports to management and our accountant as needed.

• Run bi-weekly payroll.

• Maintain an open line of communications with management, co-workers and customers

Requirements

• Experience, Accounting/Bookkeeping
2+ years

• Ability to work normal business Hours with some flexibility. Office hours are typically 8:30AM-5:00PM Monday thru Friday.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work efficiently in a face paced environment.
