Massachusetts coastline - Hull, MA
Vast granite "dikes" radiate out from West Spanish Peak near La Veta and Cuchara, Colorado. These formations were created by cracks in the rock filling with magma then cooling. When the rest of the surrounding ground eroded, the long granite "dikes" were left exposed.
