Midlothian Police Department - Texas

Update: This morning at 10:16 AM, MPD officers were dispatched to the 6000 Block of Park View Drive in response to a domestic disturbance. After arriving and completing their initial investigation, officers determined that an assault had occurred and the suspect inside the home had committed additional felony offenses. The subject refused to come out of the location when directed, so MPD officers that also serve as trained members of the Southern Regional Response Group Special Response Team entered the location and executed the warrants associated with the call. The subject was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing, but the area has been cleared.

Police activity in the 6000 Block of Park View Drive. There is no active risk to the public at this time. We will send updates as the situation develops.
