❗ Did you know? Some of the most common pet toxins aren’t outside — they’re already in your home.

Many everyday household items can be dangerous for curious pets who love to sniff, lick, and explore.

Common hidden toxins include:

🧴 Cleaning products – Bleach, disinfectants, and toilet cleaners can cause burns to the mouth, skin irritation, vomiting, and breathing problems.

🧺 Laundry pods & detergents – These highly concentrated detergents can cause severe stomach upset, drooling, and respiratory distress if bitten or ingested.

🚗 Antifreeze – Even a tiny amount can be deadly. It has a sweet taste that attracts pets, but it can quickly cause kidney failure.

🕯 Essential oils & diffusers – Some oils (like tea tree, eucalyptus, and peppermint) can be toxic to pets, especially cats, and may cause breathing problems, drooling, or weakness.
