Adult Summer League 🏒

Registration is NOW OPEN for our upcoming 10-week Adult Hockey Summer League season starting this July only at Ice Box. With divisions for every skill level and consistent game nights per division, this league is built for players looking for organized, competitive summer hockey.

5 Divisions:
• A & Upper B
• Lower B
• Upper C
• Lower C
• D

League Details:
• 10-week season
• Set game day each week
• 1:15 ice time (60 min games)
• 3 x 20-minute run clock periods
• Minimum 15 players per team
• Maximum 20 players per team
• 20 total teams across all divisions
• 4 teams per division
• Team fee

We’re hiring for the Fall Season at Richmond Ice Box ⛸️🏒

We are currently looking for Coaches, Junior Coaches, and Assistant Coaches to join our Learn to Skate team this season. Whether you’re an experienced instructor or looking to grow within the skating community, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications for All Positions:
• Strong skating skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Weekend and evening availability required
• Current Learn to Skate USA compliance (or willingness to obtain)

Lead Coach Positions:
Minimum 4 years of experience teaching Learn to Skate classes recommended, or equivalent skating and instructional experience.

Junior Coach Positions: Reserved for experienced skaters who have passed their Intermediate Skating Skills test and are able to independently teach beginner skaters while also assisting instructors at higher levels.

Assistant Coach Positions: Perfect for skaters looking to gain experience and grow with us. Assistant coaches may not yet meet the requirements for independent instruction, but will work closely alongside our team as involved rink guards. Responsibilities include helping new skaters on and off the ice, building people skills, shadowing classes, and assisting instructors throughout sessions. Assistant coaches who gain enough experience and meet the necessary requirements will have the opportunity to move into Junior Coach positions.

With over 25 years on the ice, Ivana brings an incredible level of experience, passion, and artistry to Richmond Ice Box. Backed by more than a decade of coaching experience, she is dedicated to building strong foundations while helping each skater develop their own unique style.

Under Ivana’s leadership, we’re excited to start growing our own Learn to Skate program designed to build a solid foundation for both hockey players and figure skaters to set athletes up for long-term success on the ice.
