While in Florida last month, my family and I booked a boat adventure with Cory. We had the BEST time snorkeling and looking for dolphins. More notably… we saved a pelican!! Naturally, I illustrated our new friend (named Wally by our kids) and made some stickers to send to Cory as a surprise. I LOVE getting to create things for people!

We are on the weather rollercoaster here in Oklahoma (Winter and Spring are fighting it out and giving us all whiplash)... But it's March 1st and all I can think about is the sights, sounds, and smells of spring.

One of my favorite things growing up was seeing all the gorgeous flowers in my Grandma Winnie's garden. What's even more special is watching irises, daffodils, and hyacinths from her garden come up in my own flower beds.

This hand-painted illustration, Where the Wildflowers Grow, sparked immense joy in my heart as I just created pretty things that were -planted- in my heart as a child. (See what I did there?)
