The sign says Public Welcome and Miss Mousy means that with every fiber of her being.
"I've never had a bad day."
That's how she chooses to open up a conversation about her work life here on the Milford Wellness Village Campus.
"I love the people. That's why I come to work every single day."
Mousy, whose real name she says, "everyone destroys so let's just leave it at* Mousy*," works not only as the friendliest of faces you see at the Village Cafe greeting, checking out, making cookies, handing out the yogurts she also calls her own, but the front desk of Polaris too!
Her work life extends even outside of The Milford Wellness Village, to another local care facility because as she puts it, "its a blessing to just work with the people."
Mousy's love of people extends to a dear husband, nieces and nephews and 23 God Children! On top of taking care of all of them, she nurtures her sweet dog that she calls her son.
From vacations to Bermuda and beyond, her favorite place is still right here- and right here is wherever it is that she can hug a neck, hear about your day, share a smile, and be with *her* people.

Every time you visit the Milford Wellness Village, there's an opportunity to connect.
​A few days before the 4th of July, we walked into PACE Your LIFE and found Art sitting at a table with a few friends, singing patriotic songs. We chatted for a while, and he told us all about his life as a performing artist, the time he was a drummer for The Association, and he even showed us a photo of himself in full makeup when he played the part of LEWD in Angry Housewives.
​Every single visit here brings a chance to hear stories, to listen, to reminisce, and to share. Art even let us in on the secret that he carries his own microphone, just in case a karaoke session breaks out at PACE.
And when it does, we hope to be there. Maybe we can convince Art to drum a little while we all back him up with our vocals as he sings lead on "Windy."
