The venerable Robert Gray resting in the waters off Cape Henlopen is a sight that never grows old.
There's something timeless about this hardworking former Army Corps of Engineers vessel. Each summer, she finds quiet refuge within Delaware's breakwaters before continuing her journey. This week, she's making her way from Boston to Charleston, carrying another chapter of her long life at sea.
Here's to calm seas, safe voyages, and the dedicated crew of the Robert Gray, along with all the mariners and fishermen who greet each sunrise on the water.

At sunrise, even the smallest shell becomes a cathedral. 🐚🌅🙏🏻
The sea returns in whispers, dressing it in lace and foam, then slipping quietly away as if reminding us that beauty was never meant to be possessed, only witnessed.
Perhaps the tide is not washing the shore at all. Perhaps it is teaching us how to let the light find us, again and again.
We sure need to find the light after all the fog this am. Cheers to a blessed and productive week ahead Delmarva! Drive safe of your morning commutes.
