Joe and I will be hosting a trip to Sicily on May 8th to 17th, 2025
Called the "Jewel of Sicily," Taormina will be our base and we will have day trips to Siacusa, Catania, Mount Etna, Tindari, Furnari, Savoca, Forze d'Agro, Messina, with some half days free and a full day at leisure in Taormina.

Airfare is included, three meals daily, escorted tours plus a luxury coach for excursions!

Thomas Hewes Hinckley (1813-1896) was a popular 19th century painter whose early portraits memorialized his fellow Miltonians but his animal and landscape paintings depicted not just Milton, but the Adirondacks, the Catskill Mountains and rural New England. The MET, which has his Sketchbook of Landscape and Animal Subjects said that “Hinckley painted landscapes chiefly as a background to his portraits of wild and domesticated animals.” In 1896 the Milton News said that “Hinckley never copied or imitated any other artist, believing nature to be the only true source of knowledge.”
