Time to pull the pin on this Holiday.

November at the Delaware shore is not what most people would consider an ideal vacation, but it's quiet and peaceful not unlike walking around in the snow. Meandering around the marsh at midnight isn't ideal conditions for a photo shoot either, but you shoot what you've got and this shot of the forbidden dock was a nice surprise. The soft tassels of the marsh reeds and the glorious brush strokes in the sky with Orion peeking down from the corner make this come together nicely. I'm pretty happy with the new Canon EOS R. It's letting me shoot things that were impossible on my old gear.
