Reproductive Justice Zine Launch & Benefit Show for Chicago Abortion Fund Wrap Up!!!

On Thursday night, MIDCOAST,Party for Socialism and Liberation - Milwaukee, Milwaukee Childcare Collective,Butterfly Collective MKE, and community members gathered for the launch of our zine, "The People’s Guide to Reproductive Justice in Wisconsin.”

The People’s Guide to Reproductive Justice in Wisconsin is a zine created by a coalition of grassroots organizations in Milwaukee, WI. After the fall of Roe we came together to make this zine to provide our beloved community with an accessible place to find all relevant information they might need, while laying out a quick easy to digest synopsis of important concepts of Reproductive Justice and Intersectionality, and providing a revolutionary anti-capitalist analysis of the current state of reproductive rights in Wisconsin.

Our donation based show raised $370 for Chicago

This is a release party for our fresh off the press zine:The People's Guide to Reproductive Justice in Wisconsin!

All proceeds will support the Chicago Abortion Fund whose work has been vital to helping Wisconsin people access abortions in Illinois.

MEET THE ADMINS - SARAH!

Hello my beautiful people! My name is Sarah Chojnacki (why-not-ski), I'm the AngryBois Lead on the ARTHAUS team and the Social Media Lead on the Communications team. I'm a lover, painter, zinester, crafter, and makeup artist with a BA in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and certificate in LGBTQ+ Studies from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire (2019). I focus my creativity through both transnational feminist and q***r praxis lenses.

As a powerful, q***r, loud, silly, soft, and chaotic artist, I am excited to explore new avenues for MIDCOAST's visual arts team, build community, dismantle systems within myself and others; harnessing our power to collaborate, organize, and create with so many amazing and talented artists and organizations in Milwaukee.

When I'm not working in non-profit, you can find me snuggling my cats, taking care of my houseplant jungle, laughing with my friends and family, baking, spending time in nature, or basking in the sunshine 🌞
