My statement on the recent comments from Vice President JD Vance.

Today I sent a letter to Vice President Vance, who is planning to be in Milwaukee tomorrow. My invitation to him is simple: come see our elections for yourself. Talk to the people who run them. Look at the security measures. Congressman Tom Tiffany received the same invitation and still hasn't responded. The false allegations about Milwaukee's elections are an affront to honest public servants, and I'm not going to let them go unanswered.
Milwaukee has a total budget of $2.07 billion and I want you to help me decide how to spend it. However, there are a few things you should know about first: how the budget works, what the real numbers we are working with are, and the rules we need to abide by.
