Hey, Beautiful people! 🌟

April is Alcohol Awareness Month, a time to shine a light on the role alcohol plays in our lives and communities. It's about understanding the good, the bad, and everything in between.

Throughout this month, I'll be sharing real talk, personal stories, and practical tips to help us all navigate our relationships with alcohol. Whether you're sober, sober-curious, or just looking to learn, there's something here for you.

I would love for us to share, discuss and learn together, supporting and uplifting one another. Stay tuned for insights, tools, and maybe a few surprises along the way.

Remember, it's all about progress, not perfection. We're in this together! πŸ’ͺπŸΎπŸ’–β€‹

Special appreciation to Lexy and Kale from Vivent Health, and Levi Stein from UMatter (Friendship Circle), for your invaluable support.

Please look for our next upcoming training in May as our goal is to have 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ Ready Rescue guards by the end of the year.

5 Ways to Be a Responsible Drinker

1️⃣ Know Your Limits – Understand how alcohol affects you and pace yourself. Stick to recommended guidelines (1 drink per hour, max 2 for women, 3 for men per day).

2️⃣ Eat Before & While Drinking – Drinking on an empty stomach increases intoxication. Eating helps slow alcohol absorption.

3️⃣ Hydrate & Space Out Drinks – Alternate alcoholic beverages with water or a nonalcoholic drink to stay hydrated and in control.

4️⃣ Plan Your Ride Home – Never drink and drive. Arrange a designated driver, use public transport, or get a rideshare.

5️⃣ Recognize When to Say No – If drinking is affecting your health, relationships, or responsibilities, it may be time to reassess your relationship with alcohol.
