Mark your calendars! Join UMOS for the 2026 Mexican Independence Parade & Festival on Sunday, Sept. 13.
Celebrate this year's theme, Roots & Culture – Raíces y Cultura, with a day of community, music, culture and family fun.
Parade schedule:
• Assembly: 9-10:30 a.m. at 2200 W. Kinnickinnic River Parkway.
• Parade begins: 11 a.m.
• Route: E. Oklahoma Ave. to S. 6th St. to W. Rosedale Ave., ending at UMOS, 2701 S. Chase Ave.
Festival:
12:30-8 p.m. at UMOS, 2701 S. Chase Ave.
Enjoy live entertainment, carnival rides, delicious food vendors, merchandise, community resources and activities for the whole family.
