Come visit and take home something to read, sing, or listen to!
Our Performing Arts Librarian Anna Grau Schmidt will be staffing a pop-up library of materials from our collection that are related to the UWM Musical Theatre program's production of Bright Star, a bluegrass-style musical by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell. Anna will be at tonight and Friday's showings with vocal selections and CDs from Bright Star and other musicals, novels and memoirs with similar settings and themes, books about Appalachian music and culture, and about gender, childbirth and adoption from the 1920s to 1940s---all available for checkout. If you are attending the show October 9 or 11, look for Anna!
