Deep Practice, Deep Relaxation: Yoga Nidra with Cynthia Gran
Thursday, July 9, 2026
6:00 PM -8:00 PM
Join us for an evening of quiet self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-healing.

We will share teachings from Swami Rama’s book Exercise Without Movement and the Yoga Nidra practice taught in 1987 at the second Path of Fire and Light seminar. We will listen to the silence together, release our hindrances, enjoy some gentle hatha yoga, experience yoga nidra, and practice deep awareness of our connection to the inner realm and joyful heart space.

Suggested Donation of $10-20 goes in support of the Himalayan Yoga and Meditation Center.

Those who dedicate themselves to the path of yoga often find it easier to offer love and service to others than to themselves. This workshop is an invitation to include yourself in your own circle of kindness.

In the first half, Jamie Lynn will guide participants through an introduction to Mindful Self-Compassion, a research-based program offering practices for treating ourselves as we would treat a good friend.

The second half moves into mindful yoga, a practice of compassionately moving the body to center the mind and calm the nervous system.

Together, these practices offer a path towards union, melting the ego through awareness, connection, and kindness.
