Here we go again. Another day of severe weather. And tornado threat is a bit higher today.

The morning will be dry. This afternoon a big complex of storms is likely. This could bring some severe weather but the biggest threat looks to be between 4-7 pm.

Please be safe today and heed all warnings.

Nasty line of storms with gusts over 75 mph possible. Take any warnings seriously. These will not be run of the mill severe thunderstorm warnings. Damaging winds are likely. This will push through all of SE Wisconsin between 2-6 pm.

Now is the time to prepare. I am going to focus on today’s severe threats.

Most likely scenario is a strong squall line (line of severe storms) will whip through our area late this afternoon and early evening.

Timing: 3pm-7pm

Hazards: Biggest concern will be very strong winds along the line. Possibly in excess of 70 mph. Hail will also be possible but not as big of a threat. Tornadoes will also be possible along the line.

The squall line will likely lessen the chance for an additional line in the late evening.

Take all warnings seriously today and tomorrow!
