Peggy Update 🐔❤️

We’re trying to acclimate Peggy to the two Garden Cottage chickens, which is why she spent today relaxing in her cage in the cottage garden. Tonight, around dusk, we’ll move her into the Gypsy Coop.

For those who don’t keep chickens, this is the usual process for introducing a new hen to an established flock—slow and steady helps everyone adjust with a little less drama! 😊

Wish us (and especially Peggy) luck! She’s come so far since losing her leg and continues to amaze us with her resilience and determination.

We need to get her settled because we’ve excitedly accumulated three new Brahma chicks ( Thomas, Newt, & Minho) from friends but are quickly running out of “baby” space. 😂

As always, nothing on the farm is ever simple, predictable, or stagnant… and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
