Ever wanted to try cyclocross? Here’s your shot!!

Starting Line, CX edition is recruiting riders for this Fall’s races. Riders will receive 3 skills and coaching sessions by , entry to their first CX race, and loads of cheering.

This program is open FTW and non-binary riders, especially those who are new(er) to racing. We encourage BIPOC riders, riders of all abilities and body types, and those who have historically been excluded in cycling to apply. Link to apply in bio.

That’s a wrap on our 2025 Starting Line program! 9 of our riders braved their first race and man what an exciting day.
Just as exciting was the 23 riders in the field which is the most we have had since 2023.
Thank you for 4 weeks of coaching and helping us make this happen. We could not do this without you.

Let’s recap nutrition! Corey with gave our Starting Line program a quick overview. Here are the highlights:
- Have a snack or meal before. Simple carbs are your friend
- Drink 1 water bottle per hour. Add electrolytes when it is hot or if you expect to sweat heavily. Tip: add carb mix to help increase carb intake
- For workouts > an hour, consume somewhere between 30-90 carbs per hour (depending on intensity and duration)
- Have a meal or recovery drink after. Should be a mix of carbs and protein

If you are hungry or moody during the ride EAT. Prepare and listen to your body to achieve best results.

We have some exciting events coming this week! On Saturday 6/14 at 9am we’ll have our first community ride! Meet at the Bryant Ave x Midtown Greenway intersection. Ride to Cream and Amber in Hopkins for some coffee then ride back. On Sunday 6/15 stamina will be riding in the crits at Dunwoody at 1pm! Come cheer us on and we hope to see you there! DM with any questions!
