What would be useful, maybe, when following me is to know that I am a recovering perfectionist. That I have to sit with some things a long time before taking the next step. It may look like procrastination, or laziness. It’s processing, fine tuning, and taking time to do things right. And with antique furniture that has real craftsmanship (and real wood🙌), it just makes sense. Some may say it’s a wee bit like life in so many ways, and for me that is so. But not getting things done isn’t actually *not getting things done*. I’m getting loads done, I just have discovered that I do many things best when they strike my fancy. But also, the domestic things, and the busyness and slowing down (and heat? Humidity? Middleagedness warmth?), and kids, and other sidetrackedness…well, it’s all part of the giant fine tuning process.
