A little sunshine, a little friendly competition, and a lot of laughter. ⛳☀️
Last week, our Virginia team traded their usual routines for an afternoon of mini golf and connection. Moments like these help strengthen relationships, build teamwork, and remind us that having fun together matters, too.
We're grateful for the incredible people who bring compassion, dedication, and joy to their work every day.

You can tell a lot about a community by what it shows up for.
Yesterday, the Warlords MC SCV showed up for autism in a HUGE WAY during their 2nd annual autism awareness fundraiser benefiting MAC Midwest.
They brought people together. They turned a day into something truly meaningful for the individuals and families we serve. To all the Warlords and their fellow MC brothers who also showed up, thank you.
To everyone who came out, gave, bid, sponsored, and supported -- we are incredibly grateful. That kind of energy doesn’t come from nowhere. It comes from people like you choosing to care.
And a very special shout out to Abraham Benson and his drummer Owen, who put on an incredible performance all day. If you haven’t checked them out yet, go to elasticstage.com/abraham.
💙 Days like this remind us why building community around autism is so important. 💙

Today we are celebrating World Autism Awareness Day.
At MAC Midwest, we think about it a little differently. Awareness is important. But acceptance is where real progress begins.
Every day, we have the privilege of supporting individuals across the neurodevelopmental spectrum. Some are just beginning to communicate their needs. Others are building independence, relationships, and confidence in new ways. Each path looks different. Each step forward matters.
Acceptance means creating environments where people feel safe to be themselves. It means meeting individuals where they are, and building care around their strengths, not expecting them to fit into someone else’s mold.
It also means showing up consistently. On the hard days. On the good days. And in all the small moments in between where growth actually happens.
We’re proud to support individuals and families across a wide range of needs, and we’re continuing to expand how we do that so more people can access the right support, at the right time.
Today is a reminder of why that work matters. And tomorrow, we keep going.
